Our story
A small workshop, 45 years of cushions.
Soon Bee Enterprise opened its doors in 1981, before Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 1 had its current shape. Three generations later, we are still in the same trade, still in the same neighbourhood, still cutting and sewing fabric by hand for Singaporeans who want their furniture to last.
What we believe
Good furniture is built to be re-covered, not thrown out. A teak frame from your parents' first home, a sofa that just needs new foam, a curtain rail that has outlasted three sets of fabric — these things have a life well beyond their original look.
Everything leaves our workshop made by hand, by people who have been doing this for longer than most upholstery shops have existed. No fast-fashion fabric, no outsourced sewing, no surprises on the invoice.
What we do
- Custom cushion making — sofa, dining, outdoor, bolsters, scatter.
- Full sofa covers, dining-chair covers, ottoman covers.
- Curtains — day, night and blackout — measured and installed.
- Cushion repair: foam refill, restitching, fabric replacement.
- Reupholstery of headboards, benches and small pieces.
Where to find us
We are at Block 4034 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 1, #01-38, a 5-minute drive from Ang Mo Kio MRT and Bishan MRT. Walk-ins are welcome during opening hours; the workshop is set up for you to touch fabrics before you commit.
For new enquiries we strongly prefer WhatsApp first — send a few photos and we can usually give a ballpark before you make the trip.
